'Circle' - 3 x 3

‘Movement in Static’ is a series of work designed to promote mindfulness through the conscious decision to engage with the artwork and the movements found within.
 
Born from sustainably-sourced materials, each composition is comprised of meticulously hand-crafted individual tiles featuring concentric circles, to form geometric patterns.
 
When viewed for an extended period, the design transforms into motion, taking the observer on a journey through the artwork and deeper into the present.
 
An additional touch of magic occurs as the artwork interacts with light to create ever-changing shadows across the surface, enhancing the design as it does so.
 
Handmade using Maple & Walnut, with a Walnut frame.
